June 2017 Goals

Hey! So it’s been a heck of a year so far and I’ve been hustlin’. I left my job in February to take a break and work on my business and it’s been going great. Now I think it’s time to get back into the workforce and work on my business on the side.

I managed to squeeze in a trip to NYC in March. I was grossly unprepared for the cold (as in, I didn’t bring any winter clothes) but it was amazing. There’s still a lot I’ve yet to see or do. Next time!

If I have to be completely honest with myself, I feel like I haven’t been as productive as I would like to be. So starting from this month onwards, I’m going to list out monthly goals on this blog and keep myself accountable.

GOALS FOR JUNE

1) Complete an online course to learn a new skill. I’d bought a bunch of courses on Udemy over the last few months but never got around to finishing them.  Well, I have all the time in the world now.

2) Write here. I’ve a couple of ideas on the kind of content I’ll be publishing. I’m thinking I’ll publish a tutorial every Friday – on digital marketing, video production, etc. And every Monday, I’ll review the MOOC course I’ve just completed. And every now and then, I’ll post everything else.

3) Start C25K. I’m not sure why I haven’t started on this. Oh wait, I know why: I’ve been lazy.

4) Launch a podcast. This sounds like a bit of a stretch goal at this point…but dammit! I’d been meaning to start a podcast since my last semi-successful podcast about 10 years ago but I’ve always held myself back. No more!
